Detectives with the Special Investigations Unit ask for the public’s help in identifying the individual who vandalized a place of worship. On Tuesday, February 9th, at about 6:20 p.m., an unknown male was caught on video surveillance footage throwing a water bottle at the windows of St. Pius Catholic Church, located at 1050 N. Clark Dr. When the windows didn’t break, the male is seen knocking over and breaking three angel statues in the courtyard area of the church. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call the Special Investigations Unit at 915-212-4045.
